New Adventures

So after a day trip to Tannehill, we realized just how badly we wanted a camper and how badly we wanted one right now! It was obvious that the kids would love it, and while it would be a lot of work, it would be SO worth it! So, we found the perfect one and our new obsession was born! The boys (including Daddy) were ecstatic, to put it lightly! They all might have slept in the camper the first night it was in our driveway...plus another time or two 😆!

TANNEHILL - The Maiden Voyage, March 31-April 2
Off we go!!!

Nonny came to play!!

Oh, Brubby 😆

There's no telling how much time Derek and I spent in Bubbling Springs as kids. Now we get to share it with our babies! So special!!

We also had some other special visitors!!!

My hunny 😘💗

Right after we climbed the giant hill!

We had the BEST first trip possible. We were on a bit of a camping high. Sadly, we had to wait well over a month to go again! But when it finally got here, that trip was a doozie!

NOCCALULA FALLS - "Camp Legacy" May 19-21
Our Sunday School class decided to all go camping together! It really was a great experience. We were very thankful we had the camper though. It was HOT and ended up being RAINY that Saturday afternoon/night. It was a great time, though. Lots of wonderful memories made!

With Lori and Amy waiting for the rest to arrive!

Hudson, Everett, Addi, and J

Hiking to the falls!

BEAUTIFUL! Lord, you are GOOD!

Nighty night sister girl!

Then the rain hit! We had 3 families inside the camper at one point 😅

The next day the rain was gone, but so were our friends! They totally bailed on us!

Tons of tadpoles!

CLEAR CREEK: June 1-3
This was our favorite trip so far. The campground, our spot, the view, the swimming, the FUN! We had the best time. We were in spot #5, which was by FAR the best one! It was right on the water with a little trail leading to the bank. Most of the spots were huge, shaded, and covered with little pea gravel. I seriously loved this place! When we go back, we would also be interested in site #47. It was in a different loop and a little higher up from the water. It was a very pretty view. It also had steps leading down to the water's edge. Although, I'm really not sure we could beat this...

Happy Birthday Daddy!!!

Just a little rock we stumbled upon 😲

On our "private beach"

"Joey the light-up bug"

Brubby, you are such a goof 😜

The crew hard at work packing up to go home...they were pretty much on strike at this point!

Our first few trips only showed us how happy we are that we got our little camper. We are so excited about the trips we have coming up. Next week is a 3 night trip to Desoto State Park then a couple weeks after that, we are headed for Camp Legacy round 2 at Smith Lake Park. CANNOT WAIT!
