Emmy Jane...20 weeks!

We are halfway there!!! I can't believe it. Time is just flying by, thanks to two awesome little crazy boys I know ;) We went for our 20 week scan and found out that everything is looking great and we still have a little girl! Just had to be sure :) I had zero caffeine that morning or the entire day before. However, you would've thought I had a huge coffee that morning. She was kicking and squirming like she was trying to bust out. Now I know why I have been feeling her so much! I started feeling little nudges around 17 weeks. Derek actually got to feel her for the first time at 19 weeks. She's very feisty! They said she weighs about 12 oz, and her heart rate was around 157. She's just beautiful!!!
About to stick her sweet little hand in her mouth <3

My 3 sweet babies!!!

Be still my heart...Jonah talks to his baby sister all the time. He seriously already loves her so much. He will rub my tummy and say "mommy, Emery is getting bigger!" Yes, darlin, yes she is :) In this particular pic, he was singing "Jesus loves me" to her. I CAN NOT wait to see how he acts with her. I just know he is gonna be so sweet and gentle and helpful. Brubby, on the other hand, I can see being a little jealous, ha! We are just over the moon in love with this sweet girl and can't wait to meet her!!!! We adore you Emmy Jane!!!

20 Week update....

How far along? 20 weeks, 5 days
Total weight gain/loss: 10 pounds, doing good!
Sleep: A little restless, a couple potty breaks, and starting to have small leg cramps :(
Best moment this week: An all-clear anatomy scan! We have a healthy baby girl!!!
Movement: So so much. I'm pretty sure she had the hiccups a couple days ago. She is very active and loves to make herself know. A sign of things to come? Oh, boy!
Symptoms: Not too bad right now. Occasional heartburn, had a couple leg cramps last night, easily fatigued
Food cravings: This really varies daily. I guess I enjoy sweet things more now than in the beginning. I just savor anything sweet :) Oh, and milk...lots of milk!
Food aversions: not really
Gender: GIRL
Labor Signs: none
Belly Button in or out? half/half
What I miss: probably the energy thing again!
What I am looking forward to: continuing to feel this sweet baby move and grow!
Weekly Wisdom: Don't eat a super big meal! It just feels awful!
Milestones: WE ARE HALFWAY THERE!!!

Christmas-time fun!

We kicked off Christmas with our new tradition of Galaxy of Lights! J said "Thanksgiving is off, Christmas is on"! Well, bring it on sweet man!

Next came the Christmas tree! I had some super cute helpers! They actually were helpful, especially Jonah. They loved hanging ornaments on the tree. I might have had to rearrange just a few ;)

I got the boys their own little tree this year. Jonah just loves the rainbow lights. We've got to get a few more ornaments, but it's coming along and they love it!

Next up...and one of my favs...the Christmas parade! I love to see the kids' faces while they watch all the excitement of the parade. It was so so cold, but it kinda adds to the Christmas feel, I think.

The fireworks got their attention :)

We took an adult-only trip to Nashville and stayed at the Opryland Hotel. It was awesome! A little crowded, but that's expected. It was jut nice to get away and have some fun with Chris and Ashley.

Our patio went right out into the garden atrium.

Loved this water show. It was set to music and was so pretty. I was highly impressed that the songs were all about Jesus' birth and the true story of Christmas. You don't get that much these days.

It was so cool how they would almost make fireworks out of water!

Oh, a trip to Nashville is not complete without visiting ICE! Freezing freezing cold but always a lot of fun.

We randomly had a 70something degree day and decided to get out for a little nature therapy. There's a cute trail in a neighborhood down the road and a creek with a water fall.

Every boy loves to throw rocks in a creek ;)

Randoms...
Boys and their wrestling!

Daddy is teaching these boys how to help with chores. Love them with all my heart!

Fire pit night! Cute snuggly boys

Ha...funny story...Jonah had gone potty in this very spot. Fisher thought he would be big and do the same thing. He kept walking over and lifting his shirt, hahaha! He's a big boy!

Lunch date! I loved how well he wrote his name.

Awe, I got home from Bible study one night and the boys had made me a special surprise <3 <3 <3 Highly impressed and so in love!

How handsome are these boys post-haircut??? Mommy is really learning the ropes and getting pretty good at this stuff now!

Sweet boys were playing upstairs and got really quiet. This is exactly how I found them. They are such buddies and adorable little friends!

SANTA!!!
Brubby wasn't thrilled, but hey, we tried! Jonah loved him and was just hanging out with Santa. Brubby would give him fives and tell him bye, but would not go near him! Hence, the family picture :)

PLC Christmas Party

Bless that baby! He has told everyone that he wants this Chick Hicks hauler! Hopefully Santa will come through for him ;)

Brubbs got to sit with the big kids <3 (and eat like one, too!)

Love my sweet sweets!!!

We love Ms. Laura! Somehow we missed a pic with Ms. Saundra, but we love her too!

Christmas Choir Performance
Oh heavenly sweetness...Jonah has been working so hard practicing his songs. I was worried about how he would do on the stage in front of everyone, but he did fantastic! He wasn't as big on the motions, but that baby sang every word. Even when he was turned around looking for himself on the big screens! I'm so proud to call him mine!!!

I think I've gotten myself up to date until now. We've been busy, but we are so enjoying everything that this Christmas is bringing! Can't wait to see my lovies on Christmas morning!!!
