Showing J Some Love

It dawned on me the other day that I've done so many Fisher updates and random seasonal updates, but poor sweet baby J hasn't been shown enough love. I wanted to post just about my Jonah B and how he is growing and getting smarter by the day! Well, he's a little over 2 1/2, 32#, and 36" tall. He goes back and forth between 2t and 3t in clothes, and wears about a size 8-8.5 in shoes. His hair is curly as ever, and those dark brown eyes steal my soul.
He has the sweetest smile but is really into running from the camera these days. He is obsessed with all things Cars and also loves Mickey (still!), Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Toy Story, and Planes. He's all boy with his toy cars and blocks, but he's been known to belt out "Let It Go" from Frozen many times.

He has the sweetest heart towards his brother. He's not crazy about Brubby playing with his cars or puzzle pieces, but he watches out for him and loves for Brubby to "run chase". He loves wrestling with Daddy and also cuddling up with Daddy in the bed watching videos on his "I-poddy" hehe!

Speaking of potty...he's doing pretty good. He still has some accidents, but he's really getting better and better. He will poop in the potty every time, but he gets a little distracted at times and ends up with his undies a little wet. He has done great from the start in his big boy bed! We read books in his room every night, say our prayer, and hug/kiss goodnight about 10 times. In the morning, he yells "Mommy, I ready get up...suns out!" Or "sunshine coming through my window!" He has recently started this thing about being scared :( It's really sad, actually. He talks about snakes, monsters, alligators, and wants us to turn the lights on before he walks in a room. I don't know how these things just happen. He doesn't watch scary things, and we don't talk about scary things. We're working on this, but I think it's pretty normal.

He loves to play outside and just be a boy. He loves going to school and play with his friends (Mary Claire, Kiki, Summit, Eli and Bailey...and Yadom!). Also does great in Sunday school, especially when they meet him at the door with those awesome saltines. He can count to 15, say his ABCs, spell his name, knows all his colors, shapes, animals/sounds, and knows his right from left. He's my angel, my sweet sweet, my baby boy. He stole my heart before I even met him. I thank God literally every night for his health and happiness. I love you Joni B!!!

It's (finally) Fall Y'all!

I have sooo been looking forward to this time of year. The cooler temps, the bright blue sky, the vibrant reds and yellows in the trees, and of course the festivities! We've been extremely busy, so let's get started!

4D Family Farm

J was much better this year on the horsey. Last year he was climbing off the entire time. He actually enjoyed himself this time!

Mind...blown!

Pumpkin Painting:
It got a little extremely messy, but we all had fun :)

Boo at the Zoo:
We got very overwhelmed by the madness at the zoo, but J liked the rides and all the people in costumes. Next year, we definitely need to go sooner! We waited until the weekend before Halloween...big mistake!

Zoo train fun!

LOVE my adorable fireman!

GFBC Fall Festival:
Always a blast for our community. I'm so glad that we are a part of such an amazing church. We just love it!

I promise, Fisher is a very happy baby. I just can never get both of them smiling at the same time!

My favorite part...we were flying!

Sweetest snuggliest puppy doggie...kissers!

Blount Springs Baptist Fall Festival:
We were invited by Aunt Vickie to come to their church the day after Halloween. It was perfect! They had so many things that Jonah could enjoy with no line, no waiting! That is key! We could just walk right up and play a game, make a project, play in a jump jump, and enjoy some delish chili! I'm feeling a new tradition for Halloween :)

PLC Fall party:
Jonah's first school party! They seriously do the CUTEST projects. J has the sweetest most caring teachers I could ever ask for.

Miss Tara!

Miss Cristy!

Sweetest cousins

My favorite :) Love the tractors

Pretty much everything on this wall is a project for the kids. So adorable!

They made these sweet shirts to wear to their party. It says "Whoooo loves me? Jesus!"

Lol, poor J never gets candy. I decided to give him a little bit since it was Halloween and all. This is his reaction :) Where have you been all my life???

CANDYYYYY!!!

Grout outdoors day at Tannehill:
Just did this one yesterday. We decided to enjoy the beautiful weather and spend some time at one of mine and Derek's favorite places. We both grew up at Tannehill and wanted to share it with our boys. We had such a great time and are already planning our next day trip. Absolutely cannot wait until we can take them camping. Jonah would be in his own little bliss. He loved spending the day stomping around in the woods, throwing rocks in the creek, riding in the wagon, and just running free. The only sound we heard out of Fisher was happy little "talking" squeals. I've got some true boys on my hands :)

"Real tall hunny trees"

Brubby was so tired, but didn't want to miss a thing!

Guess what......Turkey butt! Love these outfits!

So exhausted after such a fun day :)

Like I said, we have been super busy having fun and making memories. This is truly the greatest time of the year. Pretty soon we will be preparing for our first Christmas as a family of 4. It will be here before we know it! My heart is so full when I'm with my family. My cup runneth over!
