30 weeks + so long 2013!!!

I'M IN THE 30s PEOPLE!!! It makes me really anxious, because I feel like my little Fisher's birthday is right around the corner. I'm so nervous about Jonah, mostly. I want him to love and accept his little brother, but I also want him to still feel like my special little squish. I don't want to take away anything from him. At the same time, I want to have that special bonding time with Fisher that I had with Jonah. It's just going to be a juggling act, and I know that. I just hope and pray that I can handle it in the best way possible. This has got to be a normal feeling, right? Anyways, here's a 30 week update :)
How far along? 30 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: 31

Sleep: Not so much. For Christmas, I got a new prego pillow and a memory foam topper. They are so very nice, but I can't stay asleep long enough or stay in the bed long enough to really enjoy them :(

Best moment this week: I started washing Fisher's clothes and things to get his closet organized! I really should not have bought the child anything, but it's a sickness. He can't have hand-me-down everything, right!?!?

Movement: I can definitely tell his sleep and awake times now. I feel movement on my lower left side and my upper right side. At the last ultrasound, his head was lower left and his hiney was upper right. He had the hiccups a couple mornings ago, and Derek got to feel it. So funny!

Symptoms: Starting to get more and more tired as we go on, and just overall uncomfortable. Still multiple BH contractions. At my appt this week, they said it was fine as long as they didn't get worse/more frequent.

Food cravings: Nothing crazy. Although right now I sure would love some breakfast casserole ;)

Belly Button in or out? Still pushing out

What I miss: Sleep!

What I am looking forward to: Getting 2014 started!

Some randomness to finish out the year....

Jonah and Daddy have been enjoying the new toys Santa brought!

J also got some fun bath stuff from LeLe. On the first night, daddy used 3 color tabs and almost turned Jonah into a baby smurf!

Little hiney! Now when we tell him it's time to get out of the tub, he belly flops like this. It's so funny! We usually give him a few more minutes when he starts his swimming :)

How handsome are these two??? I love them more than life!

We've had a great 2013 watching Jonah B grow and turn into this hilarious little munchkin, but 2014 will be the year that we turn from a family of 3 to a full house of 4! Praying for a happy, healthy, blessed, successful year. Bring it on!!!

Holly Jolly Christmas

Christmas has once again come and gone. It's such an anticipated event, then it's over so fast. We had such a great Christmas! Our second and last Christmas as a family of 3. Not sure how I feel about that. Excited, of course, but the mess of just the three of us is sometimes overwhelming! Yesterday we went to the Eaton's house and it was a blast, let me tell you...
These 3 are such sweet bffs

D was so excited to open some presents. Almost excited as BIG D!

We got this inflatable punching bag for D...should've bought 3! Biggest hit of the night, for sure!

Fisher got some very sweet things from his LeLe. I love to see things with his name on it. As weird as it sounds, it just makes everything more real.

Mama K feeding her baby

Jonah kept trying to eat the play food out of the spoon, haha! He makes me giggle :)

I seriously teared up at the sight of these masterpieces...anyone surprised??? I cannot wait to see my babies in these at the hospital!

Snotty nose sweet sweet!

This was the best we could get out of these crazy hoodlums!

Group shot! I'm surprised this turned out as well as it did. Group shots are very hard with toddlers! I love these people and the time we spend together. I'm so lucky to have in-laws who we are actually close to and enjoy hanging around. I also love that our kids will grow up as close as we are.

On Christmas morning, Nonny, Poppy, and Tanner came over before Jonah even woke up so we could all see his cuteness playing with his stuff from Santa. We were all sitting around waiting for J to wake up. We had a late night and J was up a few times for some reason, so he slept in a little bit. When he got up, the party really started...

J's first reaction was to look around the room to see everybody that was there!

Then he dug in...

His absolute favorite thing was a screwdriver he called "hammy" (hammer). He kept carrying that around saying "work, work, work"!

Cheeeeeese!!!

We just cracked up at how he would tear off the smallest pieces of paper. It took him forever to open a present!

Nonny and Poppy got the baby a trampoline! He really liked it when it was inside. He wasn't crazy about it when he was outside and trapped in the cage, but I know he will grow to love it once he realizes what all he can do. It has a dog, cat, and bird on the mat that make noises when he jumps on them. So cute, but a huge PAIN to put together!

'
Jump, jump, jump

Jonah and Daddy got matching kicks. How stinking cute???

We were talking about how much fun this year was compared to last year. I loved having a baby to spoil on Christmas last year, but having a toddler to watch play with everything and run around all crazy was so great. Next year will surely top this one with 2 crazy little boys in the house! I just love Christmas, especially now that I have my own family to start traditions with and enjoy all the magic that comes along with the Christmas season.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!

28 Weeks

I will actually be 29 weeks tomorrow, but, close enough :) I've been feeling good lately, just big and full! Fisher is squirming like crazy! I feel him mainly on my upper right and lower left side. We had another checkup and a 4D ultrasound last week! I didn't drink any caffeine this time since we ended up with open-eyes pictures of Jonah after too much Mt. Dew last time. Freaky! He did really good for us, though. He gave us some really sweet face shots in the very beginning, but quickly realized what was going on and put both hands up at his face and left them there the rest of the time. Mom went with us for this ultrasound, and I'm glad she did. It's just special seeing him on that screen, and it's something that I loved sharing with Nonny. Fisher's heart rate was in the 140s (can't remember exactly), and he was estimated at 2# 15oz...BIG BOY! She said he was definitely above average on size. He was just so cute! I really don't think he looks anything like Jonah. His mouth and nose look totally different to me. We will just have to wait and see! I can't wait to meet you Fisher Cole Yarbrough!!!

Sweet cheeks! I love those kissers and can't wait to plant a big wet one on that wittle mouth!

He looks so snuggly in this one. We think this pic makes his nose look just like mine. Got a little ski slope at the end ;)

Kicking mommy...hi-yah!

He looks like such a chunk, it's hard to think he's just under 3 pounds

We're #1!

1...2...3...4...5...They are all there!!!

Another room update - We now have curtains! We are pretty much finished. Now I just have to get his clothes washed and ready to put him in! Almost there!!!

Not many changes, but...

How far along? 28 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: 26

Sleep: Better since I stopped coughing my head off! I was sick last week and barely slept. I'm making up for it this week.

Best moment this week: 4D Ultrasound

Movement: All the time. He still feels low to me, though.

Symptoms: Lots of Braxton Hicks. My belly just feels firm a lot of the time.

Food cravings: Sweet, sweet, and more sweet. Today we might have stopped by Edgar's for a strawberry cupcake ;)

Belly Button in or out? Mostly out. You can see it through my shirt, ha!

What I miss: Bending over, putting socks/shoes on, and standing up without grunting.

What I am looking forward to: Spending Christmas with my family of 3 next week. Next year there will be lots more presents and excitement, but I want to soak up this time with baby J!
