OBA Vacay

What a fun vacation! The only problem was that it was a day too short :) 3 nights is just not long enough! Of course, my kids had to get sick right before we left. They were both on antibiotics for ear infections but were already getting better by the day we left and were almost perfect the whole trip. We decided to go through Mobile to let J see the big battleship (USS Alabama).

Brubby didn't last long in this carrier once we got inside. It was so hot with very little air movement. I had to get that little 23 pound heater off of me!

J found Skipper from planes and had to get a pic with him

We stayed at Pheonix West II, and it was so gorgeous! We were on the 22nd floor, which was crazy, but we had such a beautiful view. The boys loved the pools and waterslide. Brubby and I really took advantage of the lazy river. That child would have floated all day :)  There was also a cute little splash pad area that the boys loved. We had perfect weather with not a drop of rain the whole time. We just needed more time to enjoy everything!!!

If I had to guess, I would say J went down this slide about 30-35 times over the trip. Maybe next year, he'll be big enough to do it by himself!

Brubby got a turn, too. He enjoyed it, but he would still rather float in the lazy river.

OMG! I have a new favorite place to eat. I've never heard of this place, but had to go once I heard the name. This is Fisher's!!!

This was the view from our table :) They had tables by the docks, but I'd rather watch my boys run and play than look at boats any day! We went kinda early, so it wasn't crowded. The boys just played until time to eat, then went right back

<3 you sweet Fisherman!

The condo also had a really nice, really big indoor pool. It was perfect in the evening when it got a little cool for the outdoor pool. This one was heated, so it was pretty much like a big bathtub to the boys.

Sweet man just picked up where he left off after our last beach trip. I really have some water babies on my hands. I thought they would have permanent raisin fingers after how much time they spent in the pools.

Stud...muffin

Love this sweet smile. We get so many fake smiles these days, and I get so happy when I see a real one :)

cheeeeeese!

I just loved to watch them play and have fun!

We went to Lulu's one day and sat right by the water. J loved watching all the boats go by, but especially this barge.

We really did have a great great time. I'm sad I didn't take pics of the condo, but it was so beautiful and spacious. I think we will have to revisit Phoenix West II in the near future! Nothing comes close to the joy I get from making memories with my family and seeing them happy. Can't wait for our next adventure!!!
