Carillon Beach Vacay

I'm so very far behind, so this is basically going to be a photo montage of our trip. It was so great, and Jonah was a hoot. A little needy most of the time, but so much fun. Here's our trip in a nutshell...

He had so much fun on the beach. He would just play and dig and crawl around in the sand. Success!!!

J loved "jumping" in the pool to Daddy. Derek would count to three and lift him of the side. As soon as J would hit the water, we would start reaching for the side saying "tee, tee, tee" (three) wanting to do it again!

This was suppose to be a direct gulf view. When we pulled up, we were very unpleasantly surprised to find a construction site across the street. We were upset, but got use to it. Hey, we spent a week at the beach. Jonah was happy and healthy and we all had a great time. Can't complain too much!

Carillon Beach was so cute with this little village up front. Shops, restaurants, fountain, and so nicely decorated!

This was a kiddie park in Carillon. So pretty!

J's favorite thing to do was ride in the golf cart. He could do that all day everyday. He would sit in the seat like such a big boy and just look around at everything.

This is a pic of a pic. Tourist trap at P Willy's, but J was smiling so cute that I had to pay the $10!

Trip to the zoo in PC. J wasn't too sure about the animals getting all up in his personal space.

2 month old baby boy giraffe...so cute!

He loved playing with the shells. He also loved climbing all over the chairs on the beach. We loved just watching him play.

J took this pic of our feet and it turned out kinda cute :)

J took this one, too

Red flags on this day...can you tell? People were actually surfing!

16 weeks

J decided to go on a trek this afternoon. That tiny blue dot by the chairs is baby J. He walked so far just to get over to the chairs and walk back. He was so very proud of himself when he got back!

This was seriously such a great trip. Jonah made it through with no ear infections (a major victory) and we all had a great time together. We made a lot of memories and seriously loved watching J all day everyday. Looking forward to many more family vacays in our future!!!

  1. Wow, what can I say about this vacation. It was a little non-traditional for us. Not being directly on the beach, being in a house, dad having to work so much, but hey, they all make for wonderful memories we will talk about forever! It was still a great time and I loved it. The house was beautiful, loved the golf cart and how much Jonah loved it and Carillon Beach in general was just beautiful. AND no one had to go to emergency care! WooHoo! It was too bad Tanner couldn't join us but now that I am out of the tax business, halleluiah, maybe we can go next time when he can be there. Loved the vacay and love you guys!
