We took a trip with the cousins to a precious little place called Chesnut Bay Resort on Weiss Lake. We got a house all together and made a weekend of it! We had cooler weather by the time we went, so swimming was a little uncomfortable 😆 But, we had great weather for walking around and exploring, bike riding, and relaxing on our big porch overlooking the lake. We attempted a pontoon day...it did not go well. I pretty much wanted to jump overboard and swim to shore. It was just very windy and too cool. Emmy screamed, Fisher complained, and I was so done! Note to self...the Yarbroughs don't do boats! 😢 But other than that, we had a great time and the kids were so good together.
Em says...nope! WAY too cold!
