DUMP Everything...Jonah's Turning 2!!!

Yesterday was party day for this handsome baby boy...I mean, 2 year old! How is it possible? I think this past year went even faster than the first, if that's possible. We wanted to have the party at our house, and since Jonah loves his dump trucks and "tractors", we went with the construction theme. It was just so cute and so much fun!!! We rented an inflatable for the kids to play on, had tons of yummy snacks, and an adorable cake. It was such a pretty day, but super hot out in the sun! The kids played and played and had such a good time. After the party, Jonah slept for like 2 hours. He was wiped out...we all were! Fisher was kinda fussy and refused to be put down. Someone was jealous! Grandpa held him most of the time. Jonah seemed to have so much fun with all the kids that came. He jumped and giggled and squealed in the bounce house. I was so happy to see that he was happy! Isn't that why we throw these parties for kids who, honestly, won't remember them?

We are now 2 days away from Jonah's actually birthday, and I just don't know how I feel about that. Jonah, you are seriously amazing. You are so smart and loving. You will give everyone the sweetest hugs and kisses. You are also very independent. You want to do things yourself, saying "Jonah do it!" You love to read, especially this Cars seek and find book. We read that one like 10 times a day. You love all kinds of trucks and planes and tractors. We always have to look for the firetrucks at the end of the street. You get so excited if they are sitting outside. Speaking of outside, you LOVE to play outside and could stay out there from sun-up to sun-down. You eat great, most of the time and can seriously chug some milk. You are still my great sleeper, as always. I love to watch you learn to do new things, even read through a new book. I can just tell your little brain is ticking away and absorbing everything you see. You love to hold your brubby (for like 30 seconds at a time) then you are "done, done!" We are so very proud of you and love you to pieces, little man.
