3 Months and More

Happy 3 months, Miss Emmy! Oh, how we love you sweet girl <3 You are still such a good sleeper at night, thank you so much! Nap times are a struggle, though. It seems you just don't want to get out of mommy's arms during the day! You love to snuggle :) Nursing is going beautifully, and it just makes me feel complete. Plus, I love knowing that your cute little pudgy rolls are all from me. You get it from your momma...literally! You are wearing size 3-6mo clothes and size 2 diapers. You're starting to really grab hold of toys, and everything is going to your mouth. You're starting to get a little annoyed with all the "love" your brothers give you. In true lady fashion, you're not having the rough-housing! Oh, how we love our Emmy girl!

Say whaaaat??? Well, she outgrew her sink baths, so we moved her to the big tub. Man, does she love her nightly "swims"! She is in constant motion and happy as can be. I call her my little mermaid girl :) We can pretty much count on her being in the bath for a solid 30 minutes, haha!

Oh, how I adore that scrunchy smile! Having the time of her sweet little life :) Oh, and foot massages still follow bath time!

We finally decided she was ready to go to her Sunday school class! I keep her with me in our class but take her to the nursery for service. She has done great so far!

This is how we found her the first time she went. They said she went right out! Why can't I get her to do this at home???

So, funny story...The room I nurse in is right across from Fisher's room. I tried to be sly, but he busted me and insisted on coming in the tiny closet with me!

Oh...and this happened!

She was actually about 2 1/2 months old, but I forgot to add it to my last post. Go Em Em!

Loves her "love bug", especially at nap time!

In other news...

We get pretty bored cooped up in the house all the time, so we headed to the park bright and early one morning!

I'd say that's a successful morning at the playground :)

Took my boys on a date one day to see Ice Age! They've really been loving some Ice Age lately, so of course they wanted to see the new one. Nonny stayed with Ems and off we went!

Silly willy kept complaining of it being too loud. Ok, old man Brubby!

I hope you boys always know how very very special you are to me!!!

Jonah got to feed Emmy!

Sweetest Brubby cuddles <3

Oh, how beautiful is our girl?!?!

And how big is our Fisherman? He's big enough for a big boy bed! We decided one night to just go for it. He is so proud of his big boy bed and has done surprisingly well! He stays in the bed until I tel him to get up and then has to verify at the top of the steps "me come down now?" Yes, sweet darlin :)

"Me wuv my's sisser"

Happy 6th anniversary to us! Sunday lunch at Outback with the whole crew, hahaha! That's how to goes these days :)

Also, on our anniversary was this beautiful sight. Dylan Douglas being baptized <3 So proud of you, sweet little man! Keep God first and do your best to follow Him and look to Him for answers. He loves you more than you could every imagine and wants the best for your life. Give it all to Him!

Open house at PLC...
Jonah has Ms. Laura again this year (she moved up)! He loved her so much last year, and we are super excited to have her again! Jonah is ready to get back!

Fisher Cole is starting preschool this year!!! I'm a little sad, because he's just to little for this! But, then again, I could use a little break during the day, ha! He is in the 2 day 2s with Ms. Kim and Ms. Lori. I just know he will do great things this year! He's excited to be going to "Jonah's school" and be "like Jonah". The joy of having a big brother :)

Back to school shoe shopping! Emery is not really into it yet ;)

Miss Emmy is just the happiest little girl I know! Love her so!!!

Pretty babies ready for church

I'm just about caught up. Life sure is busy with 3 little ones, especially these ages. I know one day things will be less crazy and less messy and less stressful. But I also know that one day my babies will not want me to hold them, rock them, play with them, kiss them, dress them, and bathe them. They won't need me to do all those things. While this is just the way it goes, I will struggle. So tonight as I sit here in a quiet living room, a 4 year old tenderheart with an attitude problem fast asleep in his bed, a 2 year old feisty but wonderful caring soul snuggled up with his Cubby in his big boy bed, and a 3 month old beautiful little girl who owns us all peacefully dreaming away, I vow to cherish this time. I know how quickly the years go by. My children are my happy place. I love you with everything in me <3
